Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies for direct and indirect spend.
- Negotiate high-value contracts with tier-one suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
- Lead cross-functional teams to improve supply chain agility and mitigate operational risks.
- Analyze market trends and price fluctuations to provide actionable business intelligence.
- Manage vendor relationship programs to ensure compliance with quality and ESG standards.
- Oversee departmental KPIs, focusing on cost-reduction targets and lead-time optimization.
- Mentor junior procurement specialists to foster a high-performance culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in strategic procurement or tactical purchasing.
- Deep expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced data analytics.
- Proven track record of successful multi-million dollar contract negotiations.
- Professional certification such as CPSM, CSCP, or CPIM is highly preferred.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of global trade regulations, logistics, and compliance standards.
