Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies to reduce procurement costs while maintaining quality.
- Lead contract negotiations with key suppliers to secure favorable pricing, delivery terms, and service-level agreements.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to mitigate supply chain risks and ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments, including Engineering and Operations, to align procurement activities with product development roadmaps.
- Manage vendor performance metrics, conducting regular business reviews to hold partners accountable to performance standards.
- Oversee departmental budget and optimize inventory procurement cycles to improve cash flow.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of managing high-spend categories and complex contract negotiations.
- Deep proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable business strategies.
- Professional certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CSCP are highly desirable.
