Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to optimize supply chain performance.
- Negotiate complex vendor contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure best-in-class pricing and quality.
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify potential supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Operations, to align procurement activities with production goals.
- Manage end-to-end purchasing lifecycles, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and budgetary constraints.
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement specialists to drive high performance and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to savings, supplier performance, and inventory turnover.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing and purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar annual procurement budgets.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and data analysis tools.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and sustain long-term supplier partnerships.
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CSCP is highly desired.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
