Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive purchasing strategies aligned with business goals.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard high-quality suppliers to ensure a robust supply chain.
- Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts to maximize cost savings.
- Monitor market trends and commodity prices to advise leadership on inventory management.
- Manage supplier performance through regular reviews and corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including logistics, finance, and operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or procurement management.
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and cost reduction.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or JDEdwards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
