Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in designing and implementing digital transformation strategies for federal departments
- Drive adoption of cloud technologies, automation, and data analytics to optimize public services
- Develop change management frameworks to ensure seamless transition and adoption of new systems
- Collaborate with policy experts to align digital solutions with regulatory requirements
- Conduct stakeholder engagement with ministers, directors, and technical teams
- Oversee project budgets, timelines, and deliverables in compliance with government standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in digital transformation or public sector IT leadership
- Proven expertise in agile methodologies and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Computer Science, or related field
- Government security clearance (Level II) or ability to obtain
- Experience with federal procurement processes and vendor management
- Strong understanding of Canadian privacy legislation (PIPEDA, Privacy Act)
- Certification in ITIL, PMP, or Prince2 preferred
