Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging healthcare policy trends using quantitative and qualitative methods
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and legislative recommendations for agency leadership
- Coordinate with congressional offices, advocacy groups, and federal agencies to align policy objectives
- Lead cross-functional task forces addressing healthcare access and equity initiatives
- Monitor implementation of healthcare legislation and evaluate program effectiveness
- Present findings to high-level stakeholders through formal reports and testimony
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Health Administration, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of federal policy analysis experience with healthcare focus
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Demonstrated success in drafting legislative language and regulatory frameworks
- Strong stakeholder management experience with congressional and agency leaders
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Knowledge of Affordable Care Act and Medicare/Medicaid programs
