Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex public transit projects including light rail expansions and highway modernization
- Develop comprehensive project roadmaps with integrated risk management and stakeholder engagement frameworks
- Manage cross-functional teams of engineers, urban planners, and procurement specialists
- Ensure compliance with federal procurement regulations (TPS, FTA) and accessibility standards (AODA)
- Present project progress and strategic recommendations to parliamentary committees
- Oversee budgets exceeding $500M with rigorous financial controls and reporting
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or Public Administration with 10+ years' infrastructure experience
- PMP certification and familiarity with Canadian public sector project management methodologies
- Proven track record managing transit projects valued at $200M+
- Expertise in environmental impact assessments and indigenous consultation protocols
- Advanced knowledge of federal infrastructure funding programs (IBI, ICIP)
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Security clearance eligibility required
