Responsibilities
- Develop evidence-based health policy recommendations aligned with provincial strategic priorities
- Analyze complex healthcare data and socioeconomic trends to inform policy decisions
- Collaborate with interdepartmental teams to implement cross-ministerial health initiatives
- Lead stakeholder consultations with healthcare providers, community organizations, and industry partners
- Prepare high-impact briefings for senior government officials and legislative committees
- Monitor federal/provincial regulatory changes and assess implications for Ontario's health system
- Manage policy implementation projects with measurable outcomes and reporting frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Health Policy, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive policy development experience in government/public sector
- Expertise in health system analysis, healthcare financing, or social determinants of health
- Advanced proficiency in policy impact assessment methodologies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated briefing experience
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage competing priorities
- Knowledge of Ontario's healthcare landscape and relevant legislation
- Security clearance eligibility required
