Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of complex software and product development projects, ensuring they are on time, within budget, and meet scope.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders, translating business requirements into actionable project plans.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules, resource plans, budgets, and risk management strategies.
- Facilitate cross-functional team collaboration, promoting clear communication and accountability among engineering, product, design, and QA teams.
- Proactively identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed.
- Provide regular, transparent project status reports, presentations, and communication to all stakeholders, including executive leadership.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives within the project management office, adopting best practices and tools.
- Mentor junior project managers and team members, fostering a culture of excellence and professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
- 5-8 years of progressive experience in project management, with a strong focus on software development or technology projects.
- PMP, CSM, SAFe, or equivalent project management certification is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding and practical experience with both Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project, Trello) and collaboration tools.
- Exceptional leadership, communication (written and verbal), negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.
