Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle from initial conceptualization and permitting to final handover and closeout.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure profitability and adherence to scope.
- Direct and mentor on-site superintendents and trade contractors to maintain high-quality workmanship.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local, state, and federal building codes and OSHA safety regulations.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication between clients, architects, engineers, and stakeholders.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to mitigate potential delays or safety hazards.
- Implement Lean Construction methodologies to optimize workflow and reduce waste.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects valued at $5M or higher.
- Professional certification such as PMP, CAPM, or LEED AP is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam Revu, or similar construction management software.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to resolve conflicts and manage diverse teams.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various job sites.
