Responsibilities
- Project Oversight: Manage the full lifecycle of construction projects, from pre-construction planning to final punch lists, ensuring all milestones are met.
- Financial Control: Develop and monitor project budgets, track costs, and implement strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining quality.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and coordinate cross-functional teams, including subcontractors, architects, and internal staff, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal building codes, OSHA regulations, and company safety policies.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control measures and conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale commercial projects.
- Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam) and MS Project.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively with stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on risk mitigation.
