Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of architectural projects from concept development to construction administration, ensuring adherence to design intent, budget, and schedule.
- Manage and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Develop and review architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation for accuracy and compliance with codes and standards.
- Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and resolve on-site issues effectively.
- Contribute to business development activities, including proposal preparation and client presentations.
- Champion sustainable design practices and integrate innovative technologies into project solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Licensed Architect (RA) in New York State or eligibility for licensure through reciprocity.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in an architectural firm, with significant experience in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant architectural software.
- Demonstrated portfolio of successful projects, preferably in commercial, residential, or mixed-use sectors.
- Deep knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction techniques in NYC.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for design detail.
