Responsibilities
- Lead the full design process from concept development, space planning, material and finishes selection, to furniture procurement and installation.
- Develop detailed design presentations, including mood boards, 3D renderings, and construction documentation using industry-standard software.
- Manage multiple high-end projects concurrently, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Act as the primary client liaison, building strong relationships and effectively communicating design intent and project progress.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring design consistency across projects.
- Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, vendors, and consultants to integrate design solutions seamlessly.
- Oversee site visits and construction administration, resolving design-related issues promptly and effectively.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, innovations, and sustainable design practices to continuously elevate our firm's offerings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in high-end residential, hospitality, or luxury commercial interior design.
- NCIDQ Certification or Architectural Licensure preferred.
- Exceptional proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
- Demonstrated portfolio showcasing strong conceptual design skills, technical proficiency, and successful project execution.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and schedules effectively.
- Superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly to clients and team members.
- Deep understanding of building codes, ADA compliance, and sustainable design principles.
