Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and conceptualization phases for complex commercial and residential projects.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, specifications, and detailed architectural drawings.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers.
- Conduct site visits and ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards.
- Present design concepts and project updates to clients, stakeholders, and municipal boards.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure on-time delivery.
- Mentor junior architects and draftspersons, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Integrate sustainable and green building practices into all design solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Active Architectural License in the state of New York.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in architectural design and project management.
- Expert proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in modern, sustainable design.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
- LEED AP certification is highly preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
