Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and technical execution of large-scale commercial and mixed-use projects.
- Manage and mentor project teams of architects, designers, and drafters, fostering collaborative growth.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors throughout all project phases.
- Oversee the preparation of comprehensive construction documents, specifications, and detailing in Revit.
- Ensure compliance with zoning laws, building codes, and sustainability standards (LEED).
- Perform construction administration, including site visits, submittal reviews, and RFIs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Active Architectural License (RA/AIA) in the state of Illinois, or transferable NCARB certificate.
- 8+ years of professional experience in an architectural firm, with a focus on commercial or mixed-use projects.
- Expert proficiency in Autodesk Revit, BIM 360, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Proven experience leading project teams and coordinating complex consultant packages.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, construction techniques, and LEED certification processes.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and client relationship skills.
