Responsibilities
- Lead the design development and production of detailed construction document sets.
- Direct coordination with MEP, structural, and civil engineering consultants.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery.
- Facilitate client presentations and represent the firm in high-stakes project meetings.
- Mentor junior design staff and oversee the quality control of technical outputs.
- Ensure all designs comply with NYC building codes, zoning regulations, and ADA requirements.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and resolve field conflicts.
Qualifications
- Professional Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
- Current NCARB certification and active New York State Architect license.
- Minimum 8-10 years of professional experience in an architecture firm.
- Expert proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of sustainable design practices and LEED certification processes.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects from initial concept to completion.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills in a team-based environment.
