Responsibilities
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently met.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of production line workers and shift leaders.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols to maintain a zero-incident workplace.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and Engineering.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives to optimize workflow and reduce waste.
- Prepare and present regular reports on production KPIs, yields, and operational metrics.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations (OSHA) and quality control standards.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a large team.
- Proficiency in ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite.
