Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations and workflow scheduling for 25+ team members
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and quality control protocols
- Train and mentor production staff on equipment operation and safety procedures
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime
- Collaborate with engineering team on process optimization projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing production supervision
- Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive industry quality standards (IATF 16949)
- Advanced proficiency in production management software (SAP, MES)
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts and occasional overtime
- Valid Michigan driver's license
