Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a multi-shift production team to meet daily output targets while maintaining safety standards.
- Implement and monitor Lean Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and increase throughput.
- Manage production scheduling, ensuring raw materials are available and workflow is optimized.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide hands-on coaching to floor staff.
- Oversee rigorous quality control protocols to ensure zero-defect production.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance teams to troubleshoot equipment downtime.
- Maintain detailed production logs and report KPIs to senior plant management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing or production environment.
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing teams of 20+ employees.
- Deep understanding of OSHA safety regulations and industrial compliance.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to change management.
