Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end production operations, ensuring adherence to rigorous quality standards and delivery timelines.
- Mentor, coach, and manage a diverse team of 30+ production technicians and leads.
- Analyze production metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement data-driven process improvements.
- Drive a 'safety-first' culture by enforcing OSHA compliance and conducting regular facility safety audits.
- Collaborate with engineering and supply chain departments to streamline machine uptime and resource allocation.
- Manage shift scheduling, labor costing, and departmental budget performance.
- Facilitate Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and increase output quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (or 8+ years equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency with ERP/MRP software systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex operational challenges under tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Safety certification (e.g., OSHA 30-Hour) is highly preferred.
