Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of production operators to achieve daily throughput goals.
- Monitor production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining strict quality control.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
- Conduct regular safety audits and ensure 100% compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Collaborate with engineering and supply chain teams to optimize equipment uptime and material flow.
- Analyze production data and prepare reports for senior leadership regarding KPIs.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of managing teams of 20+ personnel.
- Deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
