Responsibilities
- Lead Process Optimization: Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cycle times and enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Equipment Lifecycle Management: Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of complex manufacturing machinery and robotic systems.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce rigorous safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a secure working environment for all staff.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with R&D and Supply Chain teams to translate engineering concepts into scalable production processes.
- Cost Reduction: Analyze production data to identify waste and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of technical excellence and problem-solving.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and experience with PLCs or CNC machinery.
- Methodologies: Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is highly preferred.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
