Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of 3 production lines with 45+ personnel, ensuring KPIs for output, quality, and safety are exceeded
- Develop and implement lean manufacturing strategies to reduce waste and improve OEE by 15% annually
- Lead continuous improvement projects using Six Sigma methodologies and Kaizen events
- Manage production budgets, inventory control systems, and vendor relationships for critical components
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, quality assurance, and maintenance departments
- Drive digital transformation initiatives including IoT sensor implementation and predictive maintenance programs
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years progressive manufacturing experience with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Black Belt certified), and TPM methodologies
- Strong background in automotive or precision component manufacturing
- Advanced proficiency in ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-million dollar budgets and P&L responsibility
- OSHA 30-hour certification and experience with safety management systems
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making approach
