Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production schedules to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Mentor and lead a diverse team of operators, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor production KPIs, utilizing data-driven insights to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Enforce strict compliance with OSHA regulations and internal environmental health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering departments to minimize equipment downtime through proactive TPM strategies.
- Manage labor resources, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate with supply chain stakeholders to ensure optimal raw material flow and inventory accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.
- Deep understanding of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics preferred).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot operational disruptions under pressure.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between floor operations and upper management.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically Excel for data analysis and reporting.
