Responsibilities
- Design and implement lean manufacturing processes to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma methodologies and Kaizen principles
- Oversee automated assembly line operations, including PLC programming and robotics integration
- Develop comprehensive production schedules and capacity planning strategies
- Ensure strict compliance with ISO 9001 and OSHA safety standards
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype new manufacturing technologies
- Manage cross-functional teams including technicians, quality inspectors, and logistics coordinators
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in production engineering
- Expertise in CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and MES systems
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining, injection molding, and metal fabrication
- Proven track record implementing automation and robotics solutions
- Certified Lean Manufacturing Professional (CLMP) or Six Sigma Black Belt
- Advanced analytical skills with data-driven decision-making experience
- Excellent project management abilities with PMP certification preferred
