Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations for 30+ team members across 3 manufacturing lines
- Implement Lean Six Sigma principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency by 15% annually
- Manage OSHA compliance, safety protocols, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including maintenance, quality control, and logistics
- Analyze production data to optimize workflows and meet KPIs (OEE, Takt time)
- Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions
- Train and develop team members through structured skill-building programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience in automotive or precision machining
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (Black Belt preferred)
- Expertise in ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Proven track record of reducing production costs by 10%+ annually
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001/14001 quality standards
- OSHA 30-hour certification and incident management experience
- Advanced proficiency in data analytics and production reporting tools
