Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of high-precision components.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of 20+ production associates, fostering a culture of safety and performance.
- Implement and maintain Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and increase throughput.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot production bottlenecks.
- Maintain strict compliance with OSHA safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Conduct performance reviews, skill gap analyses, and professional development training for staff.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain stakeholders to ensure material availability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in an industrial or automotive manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of optimizing production processes and meeting KPIs.
- Deep understanding of ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Lean Manufacturing methodologies and Kaizen events.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to support various shifts as needed.
