Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day production operations to ensure output targets are met safely and efficiently.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of production operators and shift leads.
- Implement and oversee Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste.
- Monitor production KPIs, analyze performance data, and initiate continuous improvement projects.
- Ensure 100% compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company quality standards.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime and optimize machine reliability.
- Manage inventory levels and raw material flow to prevent supply chain bottlenecks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of success with Lean, 5S, and Kaizen methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex production reports.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead conflict resolution.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems is highly preferred.
