Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production floor operations to meet or exceed monthly output targets.
- Champion Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and increase throughput.
- Manage, mentor, and evaluate a team of 40+ production associates and line leads.
- Ensure 100% compliance with OSHA safety standards and facility protocols.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team for preventative equipment servicing to minimize downtime.
- Analyze production data and generate performance reports for upper management.
- Lead shift transition meetings to ensure consistent communication and objective alignment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or 5S methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP/MRP software systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts to support 24/7 production requirements.
