Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production schedules to ensure on-time delivery and operational efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of manufacturing technicians and assembly line operators.
- Implement and monitor Lean Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and optimize production output.
- Maintain strict compliance with OSHA safety standards and facility protocols.
- Collaborate with engineering and supply chain teams to resolve production bottlenecks.
- Prepare comprehensive shift performance reports for senior plant leadership.
- Monitor machinery performance and coordinate preventative maintenance schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies.
- Strong proficiency in ERP software (SAP or Oracle preferred) and MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a data-driven mindset.
- Demonstrated success in fostering team morale and achieving KPIs.
- Valid certification in OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Training is a significant plus.
