Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a multi-shift team of 30+ production technicians to achieve daily output targets.
- Implement Lean manufacturing principles to minimize waste and maximize production efficiency.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal flow of raw materials through the production line.
- Conduct regular safety audits and ensure 100% compliance with OSHA and company internal safety standards.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure proactive equipment upkeep and minimize unplanned downtime.
- Provide regular performance feedback and conduct professional development coaching for staff.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to production scheduling.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building positive team cultures.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management standards.
