Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations for 40+ person team, ensuring targets are met with 99% quality compliance
- Implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and improve efficiency
- Train and mentor staff on safety protocols, equipment operation, and process optimization
- Collaborate with engineering teams on continuous improvement projects
- Manage inventory control and supply chain coordination
- Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain ISO 9001 certification standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years experience in manufacturing production supervision
- Lean Manufacturing/Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt preferred)
- Strong knowledge of automotive industry quality standards (IATF 16949)
- Advanced proficiency in ERP/MES systems (SAP experience a plus)
- Proven leadership in union and non-union environments
- Ability to analyze production data and drive data-driven decisions
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
