Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate cross-functional production teams to meet daily output targets.
- Champion Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and improve throughput.
- Ensure 100% compliance with OSHA safety standards and facility regulations.
- Manage production schedules and resource allocation to optimize machine uptime.
- Conduct performance evaluations and professional development coaching for shift staff.
- Monitor quality metrics and implement corrective actions to minimize defect rates.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams on preventative maintenance programs.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
- Deep expertise in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen methodologies.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems and production bottlenecks.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP software (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams.
