Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations of 25+ team members across 3 manufacturing lines
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste by 15% annually
- Monitor KPIs including OEE, first-pass yield, and on-time delivery metrics
- Coordinate maintenance schedules with engineering department for 99% equipment uptime
- Train and mentor production staff on new equipment and safety protocols
- Collaborate with QA to resolve quality issues and reduce defect rates
- Develop annual production budgets and cost-reduction strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in supervisory role within automotive manufacturing
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required
- Advanced proficiency in ERP/MES systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Forklift and overhead crane operation certifications
- OSHA 30-hour training certification
- Experience with CNC machining and robotic assembly processes
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
