Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 40+ production associates across multiple shifts.
- Oversee daily production schedules to ensure strict adherence to quality standards and delivery deadlines.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and optimize throughput.
- Manage operational budgets, including labor, raw materials, and equipment maintenance costs.
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate new automation technologies into existing lines.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback to staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of supervisory experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Proven track record in Lean Six Sigma implementation (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred).
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to production challenges.
- Deep understanding of automotive ISO/IATF 16949 quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster a culture of accountability and growth.
