Responsibilities
- Direct daily production activities to ensure on-time delivery of high-precision components.
- Implement and monitor Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste.
- Manage, coach, and develop a diverse team of 30+ production technicians.
- Ensure 100% compliance with OSHA safety standards and facility protocols.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot equipment downtime and production bottlenecks.
- Oversee departmental budget, inventory levels, and resource allocation.
- Prepare comprehensive shift reports and KPI performance metrics for executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S methodology.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma Green/Black Belt) are highly preferred.
