Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production floor operations to meet or exceed output targets.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a diverse team of production staff and leads.
- Implement and maintain Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and execute effective solutions.
- Ensure 100% compliance with OSHA safety standards and corporate environmental policies.
- Collaborate with engineering and supply chain teams to streamline product launches.
- Maintain equipment performance logs and coordinate preventative maintenance schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing principles and Kaizen methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Exceptional leadership abilities with a focus on coaching and team building.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and ISO 9001 quality management systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
