Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production floor operations to ensure strict adherence to quality and safety protocols.
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of 30+ production technicians and leads.
- Analyze production metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement effective process improvements.
- Coordinate with supply chain and logistics departments to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Manage labor schedules and equipment maintenance logs to maximize uptime.
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations and environmental safety standards.
- Prepare comprehensive weekly reports on production efficiency and KPI performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical processes and resolve operational conflicts.
- Expertise in ERP software (SAP or Oracle) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of driving team engagement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize critical tasks effectively.
