Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations for 15+ team members across 3 manufacturing lines
- Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste by 15% annually
- Develop and optimize production schedules to meet client deadlines with 99.5% on-time delivery
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma methodologies
- Manage inventory control and quality assurance protocols (ISO 9001 certified)
- Train and mentor production staff on equipment operation and safety procedures
- Collaborate with engineering teams on process automation and equipment upgrades
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years in manufacturing leadership with automotive industry experience
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required
- Proficiency in ERP/MES systems (SAP/JDE experience preferred)
- OSHA 30-hour certification and strong safety leadership background
- Experience managing unionized production environments
- Advanced data analysis skills for production KPI optimization
- Valid driver's license and ability to work rotating shifts
