Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations for 25+ team members across multiple assembly lines
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and reduce waste by 15% annually
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and ISO 9001 quality standards
- Coordinate with engineering teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement process improvements
- Manage inventory control systems and maintain accurate production documentation
- Conduct performance evaluations and develop targeted training programs for staff
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive production supervision experience in automotive/industrial manufacturing
- Certified Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
- Proven track record of improving productivity metrics (OEE, KPIs)
- Advanced knowledge of CNC machinery and automated production systems
- Strong proficiency in ERP/MES software (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Excellent problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making ability
