Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary team of 30+ production operators and technicians.
- Monitor production output against strict KPIs to ensure on-time delivery and quality standards.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and improve throughput.
- Manage labor schedules, resource allocation, and workflow distribution across shifts.
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company environmental policies.
- Collaborate with engineering and supply chain teams to troubleshoot line bottlenecks.
- Prepare comprehensive daily production reports and present metrics to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in a high-volume, automated manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing principles, 5S, and Kaizen methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to operational hurdles.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse team members.
- Demonstrated success in managing budget, inventory, and cross-functional teams.
