Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a diverse production team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly output targets.
- Implement and monitor Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and optimize workflow.
- Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company quality standards.
- Coordinate with supply chain and maintenance departments to minimize downtime and ensure material availability.
- Prepare detailed production performance reports for senior management reviews.
- Manage employee scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a high-performing workforce.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing principles, 5S, and Kaizen methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency with ERP/MRP software systems (e.g., SAP or Oracle).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable operational insights.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to mentor team members effectively.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems is highly preferred.
