Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a multi-shift production team to ensure daily output targets are met with zero defects.
- Implement and sustain Lean manufacturing principles to minimize waste and optimize production flow.
- Manage operational KPIs, reporting key metrics to senior management on a weekly basis.
- Oversee rigorous quality control processes to ensure all products exceed ISO 9001 standards.
- Maintain strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations and drive a 'safety-first' workplace culture.
- Coordinate with supply chain and engineering teams to resolve equipment downtime and resource bottlenecks.
- Develop and mentor junior leads to foster internal talent and growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of success with Lean Six Sigma or 5S methodologies.
- Deep understanding of production scheduling software (ERP systems like SAP or Oracle).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to thrive under tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, with experience managing unionized workforces preferred.
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification is highly desired.
