Responsibilities
- Oversee daily floor operations to ensure production schedules are met with maximum efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of 40+ production associates and line leads.
- Implement and maintain Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and downtime.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain team for timely material delivery.
- Enforce strict OSHA compliance and facility safety protocols to maintain a zero-incident environment.
- Analyze production metrics and KPI reports to provide actionable insights for senior management.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance schedules to minimize operational disruption.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements (Lean/5S/Kaizen).
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex operational issues.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities.
- Certification in Six Sigma Green Belt or higher is highly preferred.
