Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end production operations to ensure output targets are achieved safely and efficiently.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 40+ production associates, fostering a culture of accountability.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to minimize waste and optimize cycle times.
- Maintain strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company quality protocols.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and corrective repairs.
- Analyze daily production data and provide actionable reports to plant leadership.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration between supply chain, engineering, and quality assurance departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of success with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen principles.
- Strong technical proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate diverse workforces.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical production issues under pressure.
- Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) is considered a significant advantage.
