Responsibilities
- Direct daily production activities to ensure delivery schedules and quality standards are met.
- Analyze production metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma) initiatives.
- Mentor and develop shift leads and line operators through coaching and performance management.
- Maintain strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Oversee inventory levels and manage raw material procurement workflows.
- Coordinate with engineering and quality assurance departments to resolve technical issues.
- Prepare comprehensive shift reports for executive management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen principles.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems and production equipment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams.
- Proficiency in ERP software (SAP or Oracle preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision making.
