Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of production operators to achieve daily throughput targets.
- Implement and monitor Lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and optimize cycle times.
- Maintain a strict culture of safety compliance and conduct regular hazard assessments.
- Analyze production metrics to identify bottlenecks and spearhead process improvement initiatives.
- Manage departmental budget, resource allocation, and inventory levels efficiently.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime.
- Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development for all staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Deep understanding of Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex operational challenges under tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental coordination.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and MS Office Suite.
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training is highly preferred.
