Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a production team of 40+ operators to meet daily throughput targets.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and improve cycle times.
- Ensure 100% compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company quality protocols.
- Manage shift scheduling, resource allocation, and labor cost optimization.
- Collaborate with engineering and supply chain teams to resolve production bottlenecks.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of production logs and quality audit results.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements (Kaizen, 5S).
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred).
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
- Exceptional leadership and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts to support multi-line operations.
