Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production floor operations to meet safety, quality, and throughput targets.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of machine operators and technicians.
- Monitor production schedules and resource allocation to ensure 100% on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with the maintenance department to ensure equipment uptime and perform proactive preventive maintenance.
- Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company standard operating procedures.
- Analyze production KPIs and report progress to plant leadership during weekly performance reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of success in Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen event facilitation.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, APICS) are highly preferred.
