Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a multi-shift team of production operators to achieve daily throughput targets.
- Oversee daily production workflows to ensure alignment with quality standards and safety protocols.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and optimize cycle times.
- Manage production schedules and resource allocation to meet customer delivery deadlines.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and foster a culture of professional growth and accountability.
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations and company environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies.
- Analyze production metrics to identify bottlenecks and lead cross-functional problem-solving initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of supervisory experience within a high-volume manufacturing or production environment.
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or 5S methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high safety standards in an industrial setting.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is highly preferred.
